What’s Self healing??- 6 Steps to self heal

Healing yourself isn’t as hard as you may think.

You just need several minutes to relax and connect.

Results can be immediate or take time.

When you commit to self healing, you will feel and see the benefits.

What is the self healing process?

Self healing works by creating a space for you to heal in.

Not a physical space, but an energetic space.

Regardless of whether you use a healer or heal yourself, the same space creating process occurs.

Within this energetic space you gain access to healing energies.

You can become so stuck in negative, toxic habits and patterns that you may find it difficult to heal yourself.

At this point another person is needed to lift you out of the low vibe and help you reconnect back to self healing.

Keep in mind that even if someone else is facilitating a healing session your higher self and you are actually the ones doing the healing.

A healer simply creates space.

If you wanted to, you could learn to create this space on your own.

Can your body self heal?

When healing occurs it is because of a shift in your energy caused by space being created for the healing to take place.

This shift happens in this order:

Energetic -> subconscious -> conscious (physical).

Whether you are healing mentally, physically or emotionally the effect of feeling relief will alays be felt as a physical sensation.

You may feel relief from pain or simply just feel lighter.

We all have an innate natural ability to heal ourselves automatically.

Negative emotions and thoughts can keep you from healing and weaken your healing abilities.

Trapped negative energy wreaks havoc on your mental, emotional and physical health.

Ultimately resulting in illness, dis-ease and pain.

When you are assuming a negative vibration that you can’t seem to heal on your own, a healer can intervene and provide the healing for you.

A healer creates a healing space for you to become reconnected to your own healing abilities.

A healer serves as a bridge to connect you with the healing energy.

This ‘bridge’ will raise your vibration to a high enough level, so you can take over and heal yourself.

The healer allows you to bypass the time it would take to raise your vibe to a high enough place on your own.

If you are not in a negative place, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble connecting with healing energy.

In this case, a professional healer may not be necessary to bridge the gap.

Although, he/she/they could be useful in learning how to improve your energy healing protocol.

How to add energy healing to your self care routine

Does spiritual healing actually work?

Your beliefs become your thoughts.

Your thoughts become your words.

Your words become your actions.

Your actions become your habits.

Your habits become your values.

Your values become your destiny.

I have witnessed energy healing break fevers, ease pain and conquer depression.

You don’t need to believe in energy healing to receive its benefits either.

When you agree to receiving a healing, your higher self will always facilitate it.

If you do believe it will work, then your results will be better and faster.

Belief is an extremely powerful catalyst.

What does energy healing feel like?

Energy healing can feel like a full body hum, heat, cold, contraction or twitching.

It can also feel like symptoms are intensifying in order to release.

If you perform energy healing on yourself you will feel sensations concentrated in your hands.

You may even see images, flashbacks or have visions.

6 steps to self healing

Step 1. Get Comfortable

Sit comfortably in a seated position, with good posture, and become aware of your breath.

No need to change the pattern of your breathing – just pay attention to the flow – in and out, in and out. No judging it, no changing it – just noticing.

This is simply to become “present” and to stop some of the never-ending thoughts from interfering for the next few minutes.

Step 2: Get into a meditative state.

Then focus your attention on your intention to heal and believe in the power of healing. This is technically where all the magic happens.

Visualize pain or illness evaporating or shrinking. Leave it up to your imagination how the negativity leaves the body if you’d like.  

You can ask for yours and others guides or team to assist you in this healing session with healing energy that is coming from a place of pure and unconditional love for yourself, your client and other and that the energy you receive be appropriate.

Step 3. Create Energy

Take your hands (palms together) in front of you and rub them together quickly for 30 – 60 seconds.

Let them become warm from the friction and feel that warmth.

Hold your hands 6-8 inches away from each other, facing each other and feel the energy flowing through them.

This energy is always here – you are feeling it now because of the intention and the awakening your awareness to it.

Step 4. Tune in

Continue to visualize the healing benefits as you are rubbing your hands. Your emotional state is very important here.

Healing will not be effective if you are running other intentions, visuals or negative emotions.

Stay in the meditative state. It takes practice to heal effectively that’s why not everyone does it.

But it is possible.

When you begin to sense a shift in energy between your palms, tune into it.

Know this is part of you. It has always been with you.

It may feel like prickles, resistant magnetism, temperature change or flow.

Step 5. Close your eyes.

See if you can move the energy up your arms, through your body.

Move this energy to any part of your body you may feel some stress or illness in.

Keep it there knowing you are sending it love and positive “healing energy.”

If you feel like you are losing touch with feeling the energy – rub your hands together again.

There is no judgment and no way to do this incorrectly.

Picture the energy in whatever way feels right for you.

Perhaps you just want to feel it or maybe you want to picture it as a white light – it is whatever way feels the easiest for you.

Follow your intuition with this step.

It will guide you to you brand of healing given your strengths and abilities.

Step 6: Keep Going

 Continue to work with this flow of energy.

Call it to different parts of your body. Notice how it feels as it reaches different spaces.

This energy can help those areas that usually bring you pain— feel grateful for finally recognizing this inherent ability in you. Sometimes as energy moves out of the body pain can intensify for a moment. This is normal. It is called a release.

Notice the energy relaxing the parts of the body it flows into. Thank your body for being able to awaken to this awareness and healing.

Playing with this energy flow for even five minutes can bring a state of joy and peace that you may have felt was impossible even minutes earlier.

In just five minutes you can change your energy flow and state of being. You can offer your body, mind, and spirit some healing. Energy healing is such an important part of physical and mental health. Everyone needs a healer!!

6 self healing tips to improve your mental health

How did that feel?

The first time I felt energy I was amazed at the noticeable sensation of it between my hands.

It was winter and the house was chilly and my hands were freezing for the first half of the session.

Then, I noticed parts of my hands were really HOT!

As I continued to practice both of my hands would heat up or ‘turn on’ around certain people.

Eventually, I began feeling an energy force between them.

It’s so neat and fun!
